Job Summary:
Westat has an immediate opening for a project coordinator/project manager to work on a variety of tobacco research projects. We are looking for an organized person with initiative to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of researchers focused on tobacco regulatory science, as well as other related areas of public health. The successful candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and able to take initiative while also working as part of a team. Proficient written and verbal communication skills, and good interpersonal skills are essential.
This position is remote eligible.

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide logistic support to meet various client requests.
- Collaborating on the creation and implementation of a project website. This may include working with IT specialists to design the website and contributing to upkeep of a project dashboard (such as collecting materials/data summaries from project sites, update and monitor site content, and facilitating out-reach to users to promote site content).
- Writing progress reports, technical reports and memos, in whole or in part.
- Synthesizing meeting discussions and documenting decisions made.
- Tracking and coordinating the status of deliverables and other work products.
- Collaborating on grant and contract proposals.
- A Bachelor's degree in public health, business administration, psychology, sociology, economics, communications, public administration, marketing or a related science or administration field and a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience administering, coordinating or managing scientific research projects.
- A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience with project coordination and/or project management.
- A Master's degree in public health, business administration, psychology, sociology, economics, communications, public administration, marketing or a related science or administration field.
- Working experience with content management.
- Demonstrated communication skills
