Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) offers forward-thinking technology solutions to federal agencies and the DoD. Formed in 2016 to serve federal customers CONUS, CITES has grown quickly into a best practices leader for the modern federal enterprise.
The Executive Assistant, SME will provide executive-level administrative support to the Product Lead for the Army's ArmyIgnitED program. ArmyIgnitED is a Business Category II program that supports over 100,000 soldiers, over 100,000 civilians, and over 1600 academic institutions (AIs). Education Counselors, the Defense Finance Accounting Service, and AIs access the ArmyIgnitED solution to facilitate the financial management of funds available for Army Soldiers, Civilians, and Cadets. The Executive Assistant, SME will provide management support to the Product Lead for time management, task prioritization, stakeholder coordination, staff action, correspondence management, scheduling, and meeting preparation.

Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and establish goals and objectives for the program by contract requirements.
- Meet contractual requirements by leading the contract management team for program reviews.
- Manage a team of acquisition professionals to coordinate the daily program needs and ensure they are processed and completed to the requirements of the program.
- Perform quality control on activity reports and financial statements to ensure the project is executed within scope, cost, and schedule.
- Represent the company with its major customers and business partners.
- Foster an ethical, success-oriented, and accountable environment within the organization.
- Lead projects to develop concrete and actionable plans for Strategic Communications (i.e., Quarterly Newsletters, Special-edition Newsletters) and Executive Communication to staff and special events, like all-hands meetings and Change of Charter ceremonies.
- Manage objectives and plans of the program in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Provide subject matter expertise by consolidating the weekly Situational Report (SITREP) input received from within the organization. This report is submitted to the higher headquarters.
- Create, review, and update portfolio policy memorandums and develop new policy memorandums as required.
- Organize strategic planning sessions and ensure weekly calendar events are synced with the Product Lead.
- Prepare and schedule meetings with Product Lead to evaluate options and provide slides before all meetings to ensure organizational goals are being attained.
- Serve as the organization's timekeeper, conducting bi-weekly reviews in the Automated Time and Attendance Production System (ATAAPS) to ensure government employees are accurately entering time and attendance data and submitting leave requests.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Master's degree or bachelor's degree and 2+ additional years of equivalent experience
- 16+ years of relevant work experience in admin and office management support, business operations, communications, and customer/employee relations
- Active or Interim Secret clearance required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong coordination, organization, teaming, and communication skills.
- Must have excellent organizational, scheduling, and prioritization skills and maintain a high level of confidentiality, ethics, and integrity.
- Ability to work well individually or in a group setting.
- Ability to interact with co-workers to develop a team environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office-O365, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision or guidance.
