Job Summary
Aptive Resources is seeking a Program Manager with a strong background in successfully managing large-scale programs for a federal client. The ideal candidate has previous experience managing multiple projects, with a total lifecycle budget and complexity. The ideal candidate will have experience working on health informatics and health IT efforts.
In this position, you will have overall responsibility for daily operations and deliverables. The Program Manager should have proven effective communication skills for collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
This is a full-time position that is remote, and is a contingent hire .

Primary Responsibilities
- Serve as a Program Manager and primary contact for federal client.
- Support project staff providing administrative support to on-board/off-board staff as required.
- Oversee and track contract financials on an ongoing basis.
- Oversee a team of 10+ staff, including subcontractors.
- Responsible for effectively executing the intent of project and agency objectives through understanding project needs and tailoring work to meet those needs.
- Responsible for demonstrating exemplary strategic communication and problem-solving skills with business owners, peers, management, and contract staff. Responsible for making all operational and staffing decisions.
- Responsible for adhering to all contractual timelines and overseeing that all contract tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Employ creative thinking to formulate goals and objectives and integrate them into a cohesive project implementation approach to satisfy customer mission requirements.
- Plan, initiate, manage, execute and close out programs in support of client's mission.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in communications, political science or other related field or the equivalent education/experience.
- Master's degree in communications, political science or other related field or the equivalent education/experience.
- 10 years of experience managing programs.
- 6 years of experience supporting a large corporation or government agency.
- 2 years of experience managing training programs.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience planning, initiating, managing, executing and closing out programs in support of clients.
- Experience with regulations and standards for regulatory and credentialing groups.
- Experience with government-wide, agency, and facility systems and requirements in administrative areas such as budget, personnel and procurement.
- Consulting experience supporting large, complex Cabinet-level federal agencies.
- Skills and experience in project management, note capture and reporting, and other administrative duties such as scheduling meetings and coordinating deliverable feedback.
- Excellent communication skills and strong multitasker, preferably related to communications an event management.
- Able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
