Support Specialist

As a Support Specialist at Capital One you will be able to make an impact in one of the most dynamic organizations in the Financial Services industry. As a Support Specialist you will coordinate IT support activities for major systems and related subsystems to ensure the integrity of computer generated data. In this critical role, you will summarize issues and communicate system capabilities or limitations while maintaining best practices.

  • Analyzing and resolving IT issues
  • Collaborating with industry leading IT professionals on various projects
  • Ensuring that up-to-date job control language (JCL) is maintained and documented
  • Contributing to report distribution as well as IT standards development and enforcement
  • Monitoring system capacity and/or performance issues

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification
  • At least 1 year of experience in Application Technical Support
  • At least 1 year of experience in Network Support

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in Application Technical Support
  • 1+ year of experience in Field Computer Technician
  • 1+ year of experience in Reporting and Analysis
