Duties

  • You will work with an experienced team to assess the overall health of the Navy?s nuclear deterrent mission by conducting annual end-to-end assessments.
  • You will oversee and standardize to the maximum extent practical assessments of the readiness and sustainability of the NNDM to include assessing the effectiveness of root cause analysis, corrective action, and risk management programs.
  • You will supports effort to synthesize large volumes of and widely varied data to create information that can support executive level decision making.
  • You will prepare and execute budgets to provide staff support to the Regulator Branch including formulating contractor support strategies; generating budget packages and all supporting documentation.
  • You will assess the overall health of the Navy's nuclear deterrent by conducting end-to-end assessments; identifies trends, evaluates risks and assesses the effectiveness of mitigation measures.
  • You will provide status reports regarding changes to the readiness of NNDM systems, operations, policies, facilities, and personnel.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting program assessments using key performance indicators, risk management tools, making recommendations and presenting information, preparing budgets, and trend analysis to ensure the effectiveness of the program.
