AARP Innovation Labs is connecting the leading AgeTech startups, most forward-thinking investors, enlightened enterprises and creative testbeds in a collaborative space designed to generate big new ideas and send thriving products into a global economy worth more than $45 trillion.

The Technical Product Manager will serve as lead managing the AgeTech Collaborative's digital platform, customizations, and associated websites as well as other digital products created to support the Collaborative participants. Implements and manages products. Interfaces with internal customers and translates their needs into product enhancement requirements and documents user cases and specifications. Collaborates with management to identify opportunities to streamline processes and to develop new procedures that support the business unit/department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the development, building, and optimization of products to drive enduring positive changes in people's financial lives.
  • Develops and maintains project plans and ensures that the project is progressing on time, on budget, and within scope.
  • Collaborates on developing and implementing a research plan and analyzing the data to identify new product features and enhancements.
  • Helps align key stakeholders on the vision for the products and informs key stakeholders on progress and captures input.
  • Works with internal groups to identify and execute new opportunities to increase the reach and impact of products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3+ years experience functioning as a product professional with proficiency in front-end development, particularly customizing Wordpress sites
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
  • HTML, CSS and some Javascript development experience required
  • Experience developing or managing digital products preferred

Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA)

AARP observes Mondays and Fridays as telecommuting workdays, except for essential functions. Remote work and telecommuting can only be done within the United States and its territories.
