Customer Response Center
(University Title: Program Management Specialist 101589)
Facilities Management at the University of Maryland College Park seeks a Customer Response Center Specialists. This position will receive phone calls and dispatch information regarding routine and emergency requests for building & grounds maintenance/repair, dispatching emergency messages by radio, initiating and preparing work orders, utilizing an automated work management system and maintaining logs. In addition to general duties, these positions will focus on addressing special events, new projects and maintenance requests. Candidates must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and to operate automated work order system, recordkeeping and radio and paging systems.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years’ experience in scheduling, dispatch, and/or determining resource requirements, preferably in a trade’s environment.
Salary: Range begins at $41, 944.00 with shift differential for night and evening shifts.
This position is Essential and will require ability to work some holidays and weekends. This is a full-time permanent position with an excellent benefits package incl. health insurance, tuition remission, paid leave, and retirement.
