The University of Maryland seeks a Landscape Technician to provide technical and administrative assistance. This position is responsible for performing technical, horticultural and manual work to support the campus wide arboretum, assisting with training and leadership of the landscape maintenance team, and preparing reports and cost estimates. The successful candidate will operate power equipment, ensure operational safety, and perform routine maintenance/repairs to equipment.

Must possess and maintain a valid Maryland Class C Driver’s License (or equivalent) with fewer than six points. Must be licensed by the State of Maryland as a Certified Pesticide Applicator and as a Certified Professional Fertilizer Applicator.
