Admissions and Recruitment Assistant The George Mason University, Antonin Scalia Law School, seeks a part-time Admissions and Recruitment Assistant to support the Admissions Office. Antonin Scalia Law School is a Top 50 law school. A relatively young law school, Scalia Law offers students an opportunity to pursue a JD, JM, or an LLM.About the Position: The Admissions and Recruitment Assistant plays an important role in supporting recruitment and admissions at Scalia Law. This position will perform a variety of tasks. This position is part-time. Scalia Law School's Admissions Office is open from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate would work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to prospective students, applicants, admitted students, and other visitors;Assist in planning and prepping admissions and recruitment events;Enter data in admissions database and Banner;Process payment vouchers and invoices for Associate Dean for Admissions;Assist with social media posts and email communications;Help manage generic email inboxes for the Admissions Office; andOther duties as assigned.Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience;Demonstrated customer service;Detailed oriented and ability to multitask; andEffective interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in higher education including internships, externships, part-time positions, or full-time positions.
