Antonin Scalia Law School is a Top 50 law school. A relatively young law school, Scalia Law offers students an opportunity to pursue a JD, JM, or an LLM.About the Position:The Admissions Counselor assists with all aspects of the admissions process including student recruitment and evaluating applications. The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for recruiting and counseling prospective law school students, reviewing applications, representing the law school at recruitment fairs, forums, and panels, and managing the transfer and visitor applications.Responsibilities:Provide admissions counseling and tours of the law school to prospective and admitted students;Manage the generic law school admissions email account;Represent the law school at recruitment fairs, forums, and panels;Manage transfer and visitor student process;Implement the communication strategy of the law school;Review applications;Assist with the law school recruitment efforts including coordinating events, maintaining the websites, and sending emails and mailings; andProvide support to the Associate Dean for Admissions.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;Effective oral communication and strong writing skills;Commitment to customer service and teamwork;Demonstrated organizational skills;Computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Office Suite; andAbility to travel, including overnight and out of state, and ability to work on occasional evenings and weekends (less than 20% of the year).Preferred Qualifications:Experience in higher education; andExperience with Banner and/or ACES2.
