Preschool TeacherThe George Mason University Freedom Aquatic and Fitness Center, on the Science and Technology campus (formerly the Prince William campus), is seeking part-time Preschool Teachers from September to May. About the Position: The Preschool 3 year-old class is a program offered from September-May each year. The class meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00am-11:45am (work hours 8:30am-12:15pm). Responsibilities: The incumbent will be responsible for planning and executing age-appropriate curriculum. Required Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to satisfy the Commonwealth of Virginia Program Leader requirements for administration of licensed child care facilities;Ability to attend 16 hours of yearly training;Ability to obtain Medication Administration Training; andMust also possess or be willing to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications.A tuberculosis test is required after hire. This position is subject to a criminal background investigation. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of this process.
