Certified Athletic TrainerGeorge Mason University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Atlantic-10 Athletic Conference, is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, 12-month administrative professional position as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Sport coverage for this position will be men's soccer and wrestling or as assigned by the Coordinator of Sports Medicine. Staff athletic trainers may also serve as preceptors in the Mason Master's Program in Athletic Training.Required Qualifications:Advanced degree or training/certification and work experience that equates to an advanced degree;NATABOC Certification and eligibility for Virginia licensure;Virginia license required at date of employment; andProfessional rescuer CPR/AED Certification.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated experience in intercollegiate athletics, particularly in injury prevention and rehabilitation; andA growth mindset and high adaptability.
