Manager, Chief of Staff

The Chief of Staff team for our Associate Experience Technology (AXT) division provides support for our ~700 Technology associates. The AXT team enables all ~50,000 Capital One associates by delivering innovative technologies and customer-backed solutions. Our Chief of Staff team partners across AXT teams and our executive leadership team, as well as internal partners such as Communications, HR, Finance, Workplace Solutions, Enterprise Supplier Management, to enable our collective organizational goals and enable our team of Tech associates.

Our team is seeking a Manager to serve as the lead project manager for Time Reimagined, an internal program focused on: increasing visibility and communications of our COS & AXT products and services; elevating our brand across the Enterprise, and; saving time for all associates, making work lives easier through technology solutions and automation. The ideal candidate will have experience managing large, complex projects and programs cross-functionally across teams and stakeholders, problem solving and critical thinking ability, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as lead project manager for Time Reimagined
    • Set and own the execution of key deliverables in partnership with Tech Communicators, Product Owners, and four Tech divisions
    • Provide strategic and tactical thought partnership across stakeholders to effectively drive project delivery
    • Establish measurements for success, ensuring content delivered to associates is adopted
  • Serve as liaison between Product, Communications, and leadership to influence elevating the brand and communications strategy for COS & AXT
  • Create executive-ready presentations, communications and materials
  • Exhibit a proven track record of program/project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work
  • Leverage problem solving skills in a data backed and customer centric manner to ensure project plans deliver on intent
  • Drive innovation in process and execution across our portfolio
  • Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively advance key project and program initiatives
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and an ability to manage, inform, and influence outcomes with key stakeholders at all levels
  • Leads special projects autonomously and through partnership with cross functional teams


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 4 Years of Project Management experience


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of project or program management experience
