CAS is currently seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build, configure, administer, operate, and maintain components that comprise the DevOps environment
  • Design and implement fully automated enterprise pipelines using a suite of DevSecOps tools, including Jenkins, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault, OpenShift, Docker, Ansible, Chef, GitHub, and Nexus
  • Maintain and operate services and resources within an AWS environment
  • Develop and implement automated scripting, ensuring compliance with organizational regulations
  • Work closely with project teams to deploy new solutions for proof-of-concept efforts
  • Independently design, assemble, configure, install, maintain, and tune complex infrastructure components
  • Assist in the adoption of Cloud infrastructure platforms and the integration of a hybrid architecture
  • Develop integrated system designs and specifications
  • Debug and correct complex internal and external infrastructure problems
  • Document step-by-step procedures and system configuration for use in ongoing support and future efforts that require modifications or upgrades to the infrastructure
  • Assist in the adoption of Cloud infrastructure platforms and the integration of a hybrid architecture
  • Automate manual, repeatable system processes, to reduce Tier 1 level work
  • Collaborate with peers and project teams to deploy new solutions for proof-of-concept efforts
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer
  • Secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Experience with Agile Development.
  • Experience in working with cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience in client architecture and performance optimization tools in the mobile space preferred, but not required.
  • Exceptional debugging and problem-solving skills, both individually and in a team.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating in a team environment.
  • Passion for learning new technologies and mentoring others on them.
