Summary

The Intermediate Information Security Specialist under general supervision uses current information security technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate information assets by established standards and procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain knowledgebase of changing regulatory, threat, and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards and ensure compliance throughout the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Additional Experience may be used in lieu of Degree
  • Contractor personnel supporting this effort must have the following minimum certifications in line with DoD 8570.01/8140-M: Cybersecurity Management (IAM) Level II.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • All contractor personnel with access to a government information system must be registered in the ATCTS at the commencement of services and must complete the DoD Cybersecurity Awareness before access to the Information System and then annually thereafter.
