The Specialty Business Banker II is a senior member of a team responsible for building relationships with businesses both regionally and nationally that are a strong potential fit for our Escrow product. The roles and responsibilities include managing and cross selling a client portfolio consisting of escrow deposits, operating DDA, savings and treasury management services.

Responsibilities:
DUTIES OF A SPECIALTY BUSINESS BANKER II
- Responsible for acquiring new escrow relationships and deepening existing relationships to grow revenue.
- Ability to develop relationships with the appropriate decision makers within the clients or prospects company.
- Attend and actively participate in local, regional and national trade shows and events, with the expectation of winning new escrow relationships.
- Maintains a regular calling program on customers and prospects locally and nationally in order to generate high quality new deposit and TM business in order to achieve or exceed specific escrow, DDA, savings and TM production goals.
- Meets with existing customers and prospects through personal calling efforts and other COI contacts to discuss business needs and recommend ways in which the bank can help provide business solutions to all of their financial needs.
- Assists in planning the portfolio growth through the development of a business plan in alignment with departmental budget and consistent with overall Bank asset/liability management objectives.
- Responsible for expanding their prospect and COI base by consistently networking in the community.
- Coordinates with various divisions and departments (Trust, Branches, Operations, etc.) in the servicing of routine transactions and in solving the special customers.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of competitors products and pricing in the market served.
- Reviews demand deposit profitability analysis and outlines strategies to bring unprofitable accounts back to profitable status..
- Serves as a representative in various civic and community functions to further enhance its image and develop additional business.
- Responsible for organizing, leading and negotiating with a team of bank associates in order to provide solutions to client issues
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in the training/cross-training of associates as directed
- Acts as a principal point of contact to internal partners
- Subject matter expert to support business process questions and messaging deliverables
- Mentor and coach bankers to increase escrow sales proficiency
- Develop an effective pipeline of key talent
- Help coach teammates to success
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of Business Banking experience
- At least 5 years of Escrow sales experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Business Banking experience
- 10+ years Escrow sales experience
