This position requires an experienced professional with knowledge of and experience in credentialing and onboarding a variety of Healthcare Professionals within Government Contracting. This position will work closely with Clinical Operations and Recruters, as well as other corporate functions and Program Managers. This position is based out of Laurel, MD with remote work options.

Responsibilities

Job Specific Details and Tasks:

Position Summary: The Credentialing Specialist will provide centralized credentialing and privileging services and support to ERP International with initial entry credentialing, maintenance of credentialing and privileging and be the main POC for all credentialing related questions/ tasks.
• Maintain provider credentialing files and e-file packets with current and accurate information
• Maintain credentialing database
• Input credentialing documents into database
• Review of credentialing and privileging requirements upon award of new contracts
• Responsible for gathering all credentialing and privileging documentation for new contractors and working with appropriate Program Manager to ensure all credentialing and privileging documents are submitted to client prior to commencement of contractor start date
• Produce credentialing queries and reports as needed
• Ensure monthly updates of physician licenses and insurance
• Making copies, preparing mailings, auditing physician profiles and scanning documents.
• Ensure work & product standards are of the highest level
• Maintain good communication with all physicians and clinical ERP staff
• Manage workflow to meet deadlines
• Correspond with physicians and employees as needed to obtain information
• Comply with policies and procedures
• Run reports to track the efficiency of all expireables
• Run educational, employment inquiries as needed
• Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
• Associates degree or higher in relevant field.
• Credentialing Certification is highly desired
• 2-3 years' experience credentialing experience
• Excellent customer services skills
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment
