Adventist HealthCare Behavioral Health & Wellness Services seeks to hire an experienced Manager of Therapeutic Services who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Manager of Therapeutic Services you will:
•Administratively supervises all inpatient therapy, transportation staff, chemical dependency program and partial hospitalization staff including documentation and case review
•Manages hiring, coaching, staff performance, and payroll-related activities
•Provides individual, group, and family therapies to clients and their families as needed
•Participates in development and maintenance of interdisciplinary treatment team to propose and develop strategies and interventions that would promote excellent therapeutic outcomes
•Assesses and intervenes in cases of suspected/disclosed child/adult neglect/abuse issues: Documents services provided and disseminates information/reports to community referral sources and agencies, i.e., DJJ, DSS, HHS, APS, CPS, LCC, etc.
•Co-ordinates with the interdisciplinary team, referral sources, and community resources aftercare and supportive services to ensure a successful discharge planning process. Promotes positive patient-family-community relations.
•Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to diffuse psychotic and/or behavioral crises to ensure client, unit, department and staff safety and stability.

Qualifications include:
•Master's Degree in Social Work /Counseling or equivalent Master's Degree in a recognized health field
•Current LCSW-C/LCPC in the State of Maryland
•Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed clinician required, 5 years preferred
•2 years of leadership experience preferred
•Supervisory Credential assigned by the State Board of Social Workers or the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors
