Adventist HealthCare Outpatient Imaging seeks to hire a Lead Radiologic Technologist who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Radiologic Technologist Lead, you will:
• Performs diagnostic imaging studies per protocol. Properly identifies patients, review orders and selects diagnostic x-ray protocol in order to maximize quality and safe patient care.
• Assist in overseeing operations when Manager is not present and reports back to Manager.
• Assist front desk and other modalities with questions and concerns while building relationships with office building physicians.
• Accurately performs documentation in all computer systems applicable to diagnostic x-ray (HIS, RIS, PACS, Envision).
• Monitors and assists patients, before during and after examinations. Maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Knowledgeable and practices ALARA principles including proper shielding of patients.
• Applies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients we serve i.e., pediatrics, geriatric and adolescent patients.
• Receive patients, explains procedures and answers all patient questions and concerns pertaining to the exam. Maintaining patient, organizational and employee confidentiality.
• Participates in protocol meetings and ensures all site protocol books are up to date.
• Assists in orienting new employees, and training radiography students.

Qualified Candidates will possess:
• Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT Accredited school of Radiography
• Bachelor's Degree
•3 year of radiography experience
• State of Maryland Radiologic Technologist license
•BLS certification
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate and establish collaborative relationships with physicians, patients, clinical and administrative staff, and the public
•Proficient in the use of end-user computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
•Valid Driver's License

Work Schedule:

8:00am -4:30pm
