Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Supervisor for our Materials Management department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Supervisor you will:
•Monitoring daily warehouse activities to increase inventory accuracy through regular cycle counting, emphasizing proper stocking methods and validating receipts for both stock and non-stock items in receiving.
•Managing the monthly schedule and assisting with planning labor effectively against weekly requirements to increase worker efficiency and minimize overtime.
•Review distribution procedures periodically and assist with coming up with methods to increase productivity and quality of service to the end user.
•Create a cross-training matrix to ensure backups are in place.
•Ordering IV bags and ensuring the IV section in the warehouse is properly maintained.
•Assist with resolving backorder issue's by identifying sub items.
•Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies quickly and effectively.
•Assist with communicating any issues such as backorders and distribution delays to impacted areas with timings for resolutions and corrective action plans.
•Will act as the backup for the Lead tech to order supplies when needed.
•Will assist with managing recall notifications.
•Will assist with disciplining staff and escalating issues as needed.
•Assessing equipment condition and assisting with placing tickets with facilities for repairs if required.
•Assist with conducting training of new staff and all other employees in their assigned functions as needed.
•Will act as the backup for Kronos timekeeping.
•Other duties as required.

Qualifications include:
•Must have at least 2-3 years supervisory experience in Materials
Management, preferably in all phases of hospital stock work and in a lead or
higher position.
•Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional
manner.
•Must be able to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all
work situations.
•Must have strong interpersonal skills and be adaptable and flexible in dealing
with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the organization.
•Must be able to do math calculations and input data into the computer.
•High school diploma or equivalency

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday business hours and every other weekend
