Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.

The System Administrator - Journeyman shall support the G6 Enterprise Network Operations Center (GVSC-NOC) as the Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Management (MECM) administrator.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for maintaining software configuration management for assigned Areas of Responsibility (AORs).
  • Provide technical expertise and leadership with oversight of approximately 5000 agency desktops, laptops, and servers.
  • Responsible for implementing and supporting software provisioning utilizing MECM and other tools.
  • Create and maintain operating system (OS) images, implement OS updates, deploy OS and software patches, and manage group policies for all agency computers.
  • Provide technical direction for software installation, security, and version updates on all agency computers.
  • Provide recommendations for and implement standard configuration of computers and other equipment to ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Army (DA) cybersecurity policy while meeting business needs.
  • Provide software configuration management for the SDREN and TDREN systems.
  • Periodic review (monthly) of records and customer feedback.
  • Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.
  • Record labor hours daily in an online corporate system.
  • Travel up to 10% as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6+ years of experience in the field or a related field
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must be 8570 compliant at the start date
  • Secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to lead and direct the work of others
  • Knowledge of a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Proficient at reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
  • Must have the ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required
