Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) provides federal agencies and commercial customers with trusted insights into Records and Information Management, Administrative Solutions, Information Technology, Engineering, and Training. Formed in 2017 to serve federal and commercial customers, CABS is 8(a) certified and has grown quickly into a leader in the federal IT and Training environment.

The Editor shall provide editing of all pre and post-production footage. The Editor will also provide graphic design and production support services within the Multimedia Production Support Team.

  • Assist with all processes from ingesting of footage to the output of all products from distribution.
  • Remain highly attuned to software and hardware upgrades as well as lead other technical staff members.
  • Conceive and craft a vision for the screen or stage.
  • Document materials and hours worked for each project.
  • Comprehensive design, product consultation, and production services in support of all videos, graphics, and photographic production.
  • Provide on-site graphic support primarily at the main customer site location, primarily during standard business hours and/or contractually mandated core hours.
  • Support occasional alternate or satellite site support and/or travel as needed.
  • Occasionally support outside of core hours or on weekends as needed.
  • De-conflict and resolve scheduling issues, establishing archival hardcopy continuity books.
  • Responsible for the generation of and compliance with customer organization and contractual requirements.
  • Recurring daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements.
  • Non-recurring and special reports.
  • Adhere to metrics capture process and procedures.
  • Quality control and assurance processes and procedures.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned and demonstrate proficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail in assigned duties.
  • Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures.
  • Record labor hours daily in an online corporate system.
  • Travel up to 10% as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • BA/BS required.
  • 4+ years of experience providing editing, design, and/or analysis multimedia support services to DoD customers.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • TS/SCI clearance required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must have heightened ability through multiple communication skills to deliver the highest caliber of production values to a project.
  • Must be highly competent, proficient, and superior to all others in the technical workflow of editing in a post-production house or motion picture complex.
  • Ability to conceive and craft a vision for the screen or stage.
  • Must possess communication skills that bridge both the engineering and artistic worlds of the production process and be equal to the customer service required of the Creative Staff in all forms of interaction with the client.
  • Must have a broad experience in editing and color-correcting systems, and graphics packages with a rich and vetted history of large-scale, complex productions.
  • Must be Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Software:
  • InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bridge, Lightroom, InCopy, Acrobat Pro XI.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Publisher, and Outlook.
  • Proficient in the operation of Graphic Production Equipment, including large format laminators, large format printers, computerized engravers, and computerized mat cutters.
  • Familiar with AR 25-1 and DoD Pam 25-91.
  • Must have advanced competency in file formats from various camera systems and must continue to keep pace with advancements in technology during employment.
  • Must have the ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested.
  • Must have an exceptional ability to communicate with others effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to multi-task in a high-stress, performance-based environment.
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as required.
