Graphic Artist / Designer (Remote)

ERP International, LLC (www.erpinternational.com) is currently seeking a Graphic Artist / Designer to support multiple projects and proposals. The Artist will create or update graphical images in products such as Adobe Illustrator and PowerPoint. This position is based out of Laurel, MD with remote work options.

Responsibilities

Job Specific Details and Tasks:

Responsibilities of this role include working with product owners and other stakeholders to develop usable and compelling web pages, web application designs, and user interfaces. Other responsibilities include:
  • Ability to develop compelling and engaging graphics, web application and page designs
  • Develop designs that convey the mission and objectives of the customer
  • Use graphical elements, fonts, styles and layouts to promote intuitive designs
  • Use Human Centered Design principles
  • Presents design work to team members for review and feedback
  • Renders graphic designs into web templates using HTML and CSS
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • BS in Digital Arts, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3 - 5 years of graphics and web design experience
  • Experience designing web pages and digital media to support public and government websites
  • Experience designing web pages and digital media that are Section 508 compliant
  • Must be able to work in Eastern Standard (EST) hours
  • Ability to work on designs and concepts with minimal direction or supervision
  • Strong communication, requirement gathering, and management skills

Preferred Experience:
  • Expertise in using graphic creation tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and other tools for developing mockups
  • Experience using JAWS, HP Unified Function Testing, etc. to test for 508 compliance

Work Authorization Requirements:
  • Must be eligible to work in the US and be able to obtain a public trust clearance
