Principal Analyst, Capital Markets & Risk
The role requires exceptional decision-making, analytical, problem solving, leadership, and communication skills and the candidate must be able to operate in a collaborative and dynamic environment that requires strong partnership and teamwork. This position will be in a fast-paced and analytical environment where you will be handling concurrent projects in addition to the primary responsibilities of the team. A passion for introducing new technologies and process innovation into current workflows will also be a strong consideration for this role.

Principal Analyst, Capital Markets & Risk

Responsibilities:
- Solve a unique and diverse set of problems in the fixed income space and think critically about the company's interest rate risk while assessing the duration, convexity, and net interest income forecast for the company
- Model cash flows for the entire balance sheet and condense complex results into insightful stories for leadership
- Create the interest rate forecast for the company to leverage in downstream modeling
- Partner with cross-functional teams and drive data, process and analytics automation initiatives
- Demonstrate ability to explore and quickly grasp new technologies to progress varied initiatives and help drive automation and advanced analytics
- Build and maintain relationships with diverse partner teams across the company, providing guidance to teams within Finance (Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, Controller's Group, etc.), lines of business, and operational staff functions
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 4 years of experience in Financial Services
- At least 2 year of experience working with financial models related to cash flow forecasting and valuation
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience working with capital markets products
- At least 1 year of experience in Python, SQL, or Tableau, or a combination
- Experience working with Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) software
- Experience working with Bloomberg
- Experience with risk management, compliance, audit, or finance, or a combination
