Summary:
As a Senior Manager, Relationship Manager at Capital One Healthcare, you will work on managing and expanding our relationships with clients including REITs, operators, private equity firms, and other prominent entities in the Healthcare industry.
Your activities will be centered on managing across a broad spectrum of banking products, including secured and unsecured term loans, secured project loans, revolving credit facilities, and Agency loans, as well as the full suite of Treasury Management, FX and Derivatives products.
You will also coordinate closely with the Capital One REIT Corporate and Investment Banking team to maximize ancillary revenue potential for Healthcare REIT clients and prospects.
We are seeking an aggressive, proactive individual with strong financial and credit skills, solid presentation skills, a strong knowledge of healthcare real estate, and a desire for exposure to Investment Banking, Loan Syndications and other capital markets-related products. The candidate should be willing to complete the FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 examinations within the first 12 months to ensure familiarity with the capital markets product suite.

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Location is New York City: $195,200 - $222,800 for Healthcare Relationship Mgr III
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.

- Plans, develops and implements an active client calling program targeting healthcare REITs, operators and other clients / prospects to generate new loan, Agency and ancillary revenue opportunities
- Originates and sustains the company's relationships with clients to maintain and grow business
- Prepare and present loan transactions to Credit Committee, and coordinate with Credit officers, product partners and other stakeholders on pricing, sizing and closing of loans to ensure proper vetting on all transactions
- Convene with customers through personal calling efforts to discuss business needs and recommend ways in which the bank can serve their needs
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to sell Capital One products, and devise ways to meet targets for loan volume, ancillary revenue, and other metrics
- Coordinates with various divisions and departments in the servicing of transactions and in solving customer needs
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of competitors' products and services and related pricing
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or military experience
- At least 5 years of experience in commercial banking
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA
- 5 or more years of experience in Healthcare Real Estate
