Venturi LLC, a Chenega company, has an exciting career opportunity for a Program Manager I to support a critical program for the US Army. This individual will provide program leadership, direct technical support, and contract management for a large services delivery project supporting a US Army customer.

In this role, the incumbent will lead a team of skilled professionals supporting an Army Project office charged with delivering mission-critical weapons systems to the Army aviation enterprise.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, direct, and control all facets of assigned projects within the terms of the contract
  • Deliver direct technical support to customers
  • Manage multiple subcontractors
  • Embrace the Venturi culture and demonstrate continual dedication to the company
  • Effectively develop, lead, and execute corporate strategy
  • Identify and develop strong future leaders and managers
  • Manage government customer relationships and programs
  • Develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Maximize interpersonal skills up, down, and across the organization
  • Ensure contract deliverables are on time and within budget
  • Ensure high-quality work and excellent results
  • Successfully recruit and retain employees
  • Solicit, develop, and secure new government business
  • Effect growth and maintain a current business base
  • Partner with other senior leadership in creative problem-solving
  • Structure sound business arrangements, and execute supervisory responsibilities IAW company and corporate policy and applicable laws
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • BS or MS/MBA degree
  • 15+ years of experience with 8+ years in leadership positions
  • Experience in the defense industry and government contracts is preferred.
  • Top Secret clearance required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proven track record leading professional services projects serving US DoD and federal government customers
  • Experience with, or understanding of air defense countermeasures, including threat warning, active and passive countermeasures, and associated tactics, techniques, and procedures
  • Client service mindset
  • Exceptional Project Management skills, including managing teams in tactical implementation and budget development and oversight
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the various forms of government contracts, including but not limited to cost plus fixed fee, firm fixed price, time and materials, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity, multiple award contracts, and contracts awarded under the GSA Schedule
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented self-starter
  • Travels as required: 25-30% to CONUS and OCONUS locations
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
