Principal Ethics and Compliance Associate

As a Principal Associate in the Ethics Office, you will help advance our mission to create an industry leading ethics program that provides our associates with the information and guidance they need to live our values and Do The Right Thing every day. You will be responsible for: (1) building upon our brand through ethics outreach, awareness, training, and communications; (2) managing the Code of Conduct administration; and (3) supporting the design and implementation of the Ethics program strategy and key initiatives.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a strategic partner to Compliance & Ethics leadership, lead communicators, and chiefs of staff across the enterprise to plan and prepare effective and engaging internal communications that educate, inform, connect with and inspire leaders and associates to adhere to the Code and Do the Right Thing;
  • Support assessments and analyze data to identify trends and produce data-driven insights to inform decisions related to all Ethics Programs;
  • Create training materials to teach associates about their Code responsibilities in a engaging and relatable way;
  • Manage program awareness and outreach efforts through annual Code training, awareness campaigns, benchmarking, applying for external awards, and building the Ethics program;
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with key partners across Compliance, Legal, Human Resources, and Risk Management, as well as within the lines of business; and
  • Prioritizing among multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining collaborative relationships with various partners.


Candidate Profile:

This job is for you if you're a creative and experienced ethics or compliance professional, who is ready to join a talented team of ethics professionals and work as a cooperative and productive team member. A successful candidate will be an active listener, have a can-do attitude, and have experience spotting issues and proactively identifying thoughtful solutions. Candidates must be self-motivated, demonstrate flexibility in responding to changes in assignments and job responsibilities, and have the ability to maintain positive working relationships with business partners across the company. Finally, candidates must be able to comply with all organizational and professional ethical standards.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • At least 3 years experience in Corporate or Government Ethics or Compliance programs
  • At least 2 years e xperience collecting, analyzing, and measuring data to inform program initiatives and measure program effectiveness


Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year experience creating in-person or computer-based ethics or compliance training, maintaining an internal ethics or compliance website, and developing and disseminating engaging communications on ethics and compliance topics;
  • Experience developing and launching ethics programs such as an Ethics Champions program and ethical culture assessments;
  • Familiarity with Ethics Helplines and other investigation case management systems;
  • Experience with program management, job aid creation, or maintenance of program governance documents;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
  • Proficiency in the Google Suite - Google Docs, Slides, Sheets, Keep or Microsoft equivalent.
