This is a remote eligible role.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in maternal, child and adolescent health research in a federal government contract setting. You will be responsible for leading project management, evaluation research, community engagement, strategic planning and business development.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead qualitative and/or quantitative research, including major input to study design, instrument development, data collection, analysis, and report writing.
• Lead strategic planning and coordination across multiple initiatives and cross-functional project teams.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert to projects.
• Provide operational support, overseeing and monitoring project costs as well as financial performance.
• Manage client relationships, delivering strategic council and troubleshooting project-related issues.
• Lead and participate in business development activities including capture and proposal development. Contribute to report results for publication in peer-reviewed and technical journals.
Basic Qualifications
• DrPH, PhD or ScD with a minimum of 5 years of public health experience
• Experience managing federal project budgets, schedules and project teams
• Experience in health equity and community engaged research in a government contracting setting
• Maternal, child and adolescent research background with technical assistance and evaluation experience
• In depth knowledge of public health programs, policies, research, infrastructure, and current issues and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in or collaborating with academic institutions
• Familiarity with implementation science research
• Experience working in diverse communities
• Ability to communicate effectively, using generally accepted correspondence and report formats.
Minimum Qualifications
• Demonstrated communication skills
• Collaboration with teams, managers and/or clients
• Organization skills, including time management ability
• Detail oriented
