Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Revenue Cycle Analyst of Howard University Faculty Practice Plan who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
Since 2020, Adventist HealthCare has partnered with Howard University Hospital under the Management Services Agreement with a primary goal of enhancing critically strategic operations, financial alignment between Howard University Hospital entities and carrying out the Howard University Hospital mission of education, research and clinical care.
The Howard University Faculty Practice Plan (HUFPP) is the multi-specialty faculty physician practice that is affiliated with Howard University Hospital and Howard University College of Medicine. Under the MSA Adventist HealthCare and the Howard University College of Medicine have partnered to further the success and mission of HUFPP.
As the Revenue Cycle Analyst of Howard University Faculty Practice Plan (HUFPP) you will:
•Support the AHC Revenue Cycle area by providing liaison support for data, data access, and technology.
•The RC Analyst will support all areas of the Revenue Cycle workflows and support our value stream. This may include, but not limited to: Scheduling, Pre-registration, Registration, Financial Counseling, HIM, CDI, Coding, PFS, RCI, Billing, Collections
•Be responsible for identifying, articulating, and driving technical solutions that support the Revenue Cycle processes.
•Demonstrates excellent internal and external customer service skills, assists in problem resolution for internal customers.
•Assists customers in identifying best technical resources to meet business requirements.
•Fully understand and articulate system issues and their impact to Revenue Cycle workflows
•Identify areas of opportunity within Revenue Cycle workflows that require technology solutions or intervention
•Support the report production area for Revenue Cycle specific reports. Liaise with areas outside of Revenue Cycle with the goal of data sharing and socialization
•Identify needed reports for Revenue Cycle and ways to produce them utilizing the available technical solutions and data stores.
•Ensure and maintain accuracy of reports. Generate reports as needed or on a continual basis
Qualifications include:
•Some college or post level education required; BS preferred
•Experience in lieu of education may be considered with at least 6+ years of experience required within the preferred skill-set
•Role level is commiserate with education and experience
•4 or more years working within a hospital environment in an analytical role, operations leader, or data super user
•8 or more years' experience in a medical billing setting plus heavy analytics, SQL, and Cerner reporting
•SQL, databases, and similar program knowledge required
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
