Responsibilities
- Participate in all stages of software development - from brainstorming and prototyping to architecting, implementation, testing and support.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices and coding standards across a variety of projects.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Business Intelligence Analysts and other stakeholders to develop solutions to complex problems.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building and delivering highly-performant, customer-facing applications
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript development principles
- Proficiency in modern Python development principles
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures
- Desire to work in an agile environment with frequent releases
- Experience with Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB or DynamoDB
- Experience building applications on AWS products such as EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3
- Experience with DevOps technologies like Docker
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with digital advertising
- Experience developing applications with React, Vue or Angular
- Experience with event-driven software development tools such as Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS
- Familiarity with serverless architecture, tools and patterns
