Awarded in August 2021 to the Parsons Team, the TEAMS next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract has a three-year base period plus four one-year options that should take the period of performance through the end of 2028 into 2029. The primary purpose of this contract is to provide outstanding systems engineering services vital for MDA mission success at multiple locations around the world. Venturi, LLC, a, Chenega company, has an exciting career opportunity for a C3BM Systems Engineer who will play an important role supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. This individual will support Command, Control, Communications, and Battle Management (C3BM) systems engineering efforts by engaging in Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) technical engineering and integration, future concepts, new functionality, and multi-national exchange designs.

Responsibilities
Work you'll do
As a C3BM Systems Engineer within our TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering team, you will:
- Perform requirement engineering and analysis for C2BMC/BOA capability development and coordination between MDA/BC, BC contractors, and MDS Functional/Element Offices
- Participate in technical baseline efforts to develop specifications and interfaces for current and future C3BM spirals
- Participate in C2BMC and BMDS OPIR Architecture (BOA) Agile review processes while maintaining the standard MDA-anticipated entry/exit criteria
- Support engineering product development within the agile software development environment
- Engage in follow-on actions such as documentation reviews, informational updates, and technical assessments
- Design, develop, implement modeling solutions of C2BMC and BOA systems using standards-based languages (i.e. SysML/UML) and MBSE tools (i.e. Cameo/Magic Draw, Doors, etc.).
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- BA/BA degree in a STEM field
- 7+ years of related experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work efforts
- Familiarity with MDA/Government engineering processes/databases
- Proficiency in system engineering and execution processes
- Ability to work independently within a dynamic environment
- Develop and present reports and presentations to senior management-level personnel; exceptional written and verbal skills required
- Secret clearance or higher required
Desired Skills:
- Self-starter with enthusiasm and capacity to learn in a fast-paced environment
- DOORS database experience is a plus
- Work within a collaborative environment composed of Government, prime contractor, sub-contractor and supporting contractor personnel in a badge-less contractor environment
- Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency, Ballistic Missile Defense System, and/or C3BM Program Office work effort
