Salary at MIL is determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and contractual limitations. For this position, the projected compensation range is $74,000 - $100,000 per year. This estimate represents the typical salary range and is just one part of MIL's complete compensation package.

Summary
Grants System Analyst needed to provide functional and technical assistance for federal client (NIST). Position to start as soon as candidate has cleared security and background procedures. Experience in Financial Systems and Grants desired.
Responsibilities
- Develop and document user business requirements for BSD's products and services and ensure that the requirements were properly implemented
- Ensure that business requirements and needs are properly delivered to BSD customers.
- Assist in organizing, preparing, and conducting user personnel training and educational programs
- Provide analysis and recommendations to BSD management for re-engineering, with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future business environment.
- Recommend process changes to BSD management for integrating new processes with existing ones and communicating these changes to impacted Business Systems teams.
- Under general direction, formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience preferred
- 2 years of Business Analysis experience required
Desired Qualifications
- Systems Knowledge (analysis, troubleshooting, testing, test planning, reporting etc.) Grant Systems+ i.e. (GMIS, GEMS, Grants.gov)
- Grants Experience (application process, compliance, policy, knowledge of how grants are processed, closeout, reporting, etc.)
- Financial Systems Experience (governmental financial system modules+ i.e. CFS)
- BusinessObjects Experience (troubleshooting existing reports, reports requirements gathering, documentation, test planning and test execution).
