Sr Automated Software Testing Specialist (Remote)

Overview

ERP International, LLC (www.erpinternational.com) is currently seeking an Automated Software Testing Specialist with experience in testing in Cloud-native applications using Micro Services. You will be part of a talented software development team supporting our U.S. Air Force customer. Software Testers will work as a part of an Agile team performing DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Interacting with the customer and/or project team to gain an understanding of the application requirements and conformance criteria
• Developing and executing test plans
• Writing and executing test scripts (both manual and automated).
• Developing comprehensive automated testing frameworks and solutions.
• Experience with Selenium or Cucumber
• Automate application functionality, integration, and regression tests.
• Integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline
• Analyzing and testing through all software development lifecycle stages.
• Supporting an agile incremental delivery approach
• Conducting Section 508 compliance testing
• Experience with security testing and analysis including use of automated tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, STIGs and NIST security checklists, Fortify.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• Must have a BS in Computer Science or a related field - plus 4 years of related experience
• An equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.

Security:

• Must be able to pass a background investigation with the U.S. Air Force (Public Trust) in order to obtain a CAC card.

Skills:

• High level proficiency in using and creating automated tests and automated frameworks using test products and tools to include Selenium, JUnit, JMeter, PostMan
• Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) DevSecOps environment using Jira, Confluence and Jenkins
• Cloud Experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Be willing and able to mentor others, and exhibit demonstrated excellent customer service skills.

Preferred Skills:

• CSM or related Agile practitioner certification and/or SAFe Agile
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Experience with AWS highly desired
• 508 Testing experience and/or Certification strongly preferred
• Ability to read and understand Jenkins Groovy scripts
• DoD and Air Force specific experience is a plus.
