IT Manager

IT Manager Computer Packages Inc. (CPI), a global software company based in Rockville, MD is seeking a skilled IT Manager to manage a team of IT professionals. Experience with Azure cloud, Cisco configuration, network design, firewall admin., cyber-security a plus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team in ensuring stability and security of our network infrastructure while providing technical support to our users. BS in Computer Science or related degree preferred. At least 3-5 years experience in network engineering, including configuring, deploying, and maintaining enterprise-level networking infrastructure. Strong understanding of networking protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP. Experience with configuring and maintaining Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Familiarity with network monitoring tools, such as Wireshark, whatsup Gold, PRTG. Knowledge of security protocols and best practices, such as SSL, TLS, and IPsec.
