Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Director of Revenue Cycle of Howard University Faculty Practice Plan who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

Since 2020, Adventist HealthCare has partnered with Howard University Hospital under the Management Services Agreement with a primary goal of enhancing critically strategic operations, financial alignment between Howard University Hospital entities and carrying out the Howard University Hospital mission of education, research and clinical care.

The Howard University Faculty Practice Plan (HUFPP) is the multi-specialty faculty physician practice that is affiliated with Howard University Hospital and Howard University College of Medicine. Under the MSA Adventist HealthCare and the Howard University College of Medicine have partnered to further the success and mission of HUFPP.

As a Director of Revenue Cycle of Howard University Faculty Practice Plan (HUFPP) you will:
•Utilize comprehensive knowledge of healthcare access management, billing, finance and accounting principles.
•Employ excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Comprehensive knowledge of HFMA MAP metrics.
•Strong attention to details and accuracy, using problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
•Ability to successfully prioritize and manage numerous tasks simultaneously.
•Excellent strategic planning, management and implementation skills.
•Meet and anticipate Client needs.
•Well versed in developing and sustaining effective relationships with senior management & identifying opportunities within the client's network.

Qualifications include:
•Bachelor's Degree in management preferred, or High School Diploma with a minimum of 10 years' experience with a healthcare provider or an outsourcing company on a senior management level.
•Has held a leadership role (Director or Manager Level) in at least two of the following areas: Patient Access, HIM, Coding, Revenue Integrity, Billing, Physician Practice Management, or Customer Service within a Physician Practice
•PC skills in a Windows environment are required.  Knowledge and utilization of desktop applications to include Word and Excel is essential.
•Innovative, motivated & able to lead by example.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to initiate and follow through on projects and work independently with minimal supervision required.

Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8AM TO 5PM
