The Data and Technology Advisor leads planning, implementing, and managing the effectiveness of a network-wide technology strategy for the AARP Foundation Experience Corps program and program partners. The technology strategy is to enhance, advise and lead the national office with technological solutions that improve the facilitation of the Experience Corps program which will continue to offer a positive and consistent customer experience for program partners and volunteers, utilize technology to centralize data collection and standardize the way the EC program is facilitated. The Advisor serves as a translator for various stakeholders to ensure smooth interaction between several key stakeholders and consulting companies. Additionally, the Technology Advisor is to lead and serve as project manager on behalf of Experience for key technology initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Provides management and oversight of business operations for AARP Foundation programs including financial, IT, systems development and implementation, business processes and compliance, and data reporting systems and procedures.
- Ensures all contractual requirements, audit and reporting requirements, federal regulations, and AARP Foundation policies and directives are implemented.
- Uses and analyzes data to recommend program and process improvements and to measure outcomes.
Works with program management to support stakeholders, including volunteers, participants, and partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or business management is preferred.
- 5+ years of technology project management experience, preferably in rolling out case management software across multiple sites and/or affiliates.
- Systems management, day-to-day support, software testing when applicable, data archival and extraction for analysis, and data migration experience.
- Must have strong SalesForce experience; SalesForce Administrator/Developer certification and AWS certification preferred.
- Project management experience with systems development and implementation.
- Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements via bridging communication between non-technical user-base and technical development needs.
- Proven ability to learn quickly through accessing a variety of resources, such as existing documentation and online resources.
- Some experience in educational programs and ticketing systems such as ZenDesk.
