Duties

  • You will gather, analyze, and evaluate information concerning civilian personnel management programs (e.g., recruitment, reassignment/realignment, retention, etc.) in order to provide appropriate analytical and liaison services to management.
  • You will evaluate metrics to address needs or issues regarding loss of skilled employees, recruitment and hire lag problems, expansion or decrease in missions, merit promotion, reassignments, reduction-in-force, and numerous other placement actions.
  • You will conduct necessary position management reviews to plan, conduct, and implement studies involving manpower and personnel management.
  • You will review and then processe requests to ensure they are complete, accurate, and the appropriate documents are attached in accordance with established guidelines (e.g., job descriptions, crediting plans, and/or job analysis criteria).
  • You will consult with managers on guidance for general personnel processes/issues, explaining any/all of the following: required documentation, pay adjustments, salary, merit promotion procedures, employee eligibility, and available billet resources.
  • You will oprepare status reports and recommends plans to improve efficiency of processing actions and solutions to eliminate recurrence of unfavorable conditions related to workforce management.
  • You will collaborate with human resources on new or changing HR management guidance to apply requirements to the Command?s plans and policies for human capital strategy, position management, and pay/compensation.
  • You will provide information and required documentation to include position descriptions, recruit forms, position sensitivity designations, organizational charts, billet identification, and points of contact i.e., selecting officials/hiring managers

  • You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.


Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-2 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: In satisfying civilian workforce requirements and providing exceptional customer service in the areas of recruiting/hiring, staffing analysis, personnel actions, position classification, civilian billet oversight and data management of personnel and positions.
