Responsibilities
The duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Evaluate and recommend changes to current and future knowledge management requirements to reconcile the needs of AFMRA, DHA, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) standards. Provide recommendations and advice based on industry best practices.
- Work with the primary divisions executing programs/applications/workflows in the use, maintenance, and standardization of knowledge management systems Document software and may move code from the development environment to either the test or production environments after receiving approval.
- Assist in briefing senior AFMS leadership on knowledge management progress, issues, and challenges in development, administration, and optimize of the current and future knowledge management systems.
- Independently apply knowledge and expertise to various project and program initiatives; investigate, analyze, plan, design, implement, or evaluate solutions for the project efforts as it directly impacts the AFMS.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree may be substituted for a master's degree with an additional three years of experience.
- Master's degree in Organization Development & Knowledge or related area & eight years of experience related to information technology, preferred.
Required Experience:
- Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g. C#, Visual Basic .NET) and HTML5/CSS3.
- Two years of experience managing large scale knowledge management processes.
- Five years technical expertise using SharePoint for web-based design.
Perferred Experience:
- Five years technical expertise using SharePoint for web-based design.
- Preferred Certifications: Certified Knowledge Specials (CKS) & Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM).
