Job Description

The Washington Post's Client Solutions department is seeking a Supervisor, Sales Operations to join our Revenue Strategy & Operations team. This is an opportunity to contribute to a highly productive, data-driven, and analytical team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can work with management to make business recommendations based on data, and will support the Ad Sales team as they execute against their revenue goals. The Supervisor, Sales Operations will be a key cross-functional partner to guide the growth of our sales organization through analytics. This role reports to the Director, Sales Operations & Revenue Analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of 2 analysts responsible for delivering key business metrics to internal stakeholders on a recurring basis.
  • Support sales leadership with revenue forecasting on a quarterly, monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc basis.
  • Create and deliver reporting tracking KPIs across the sales organization while providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Manage and inform data mapping across multiple systems and disparate data sources.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of Salesforce reporting and dashboards for the sales organization.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership on account segmentation strategy and territory assignments.


Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations or a similar role. Digital advertising experience is a plus.
  • Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to communicate the right level of information to various levels of management within the organization.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
  • Proficiency with Excel.
  • Experience with Tableau a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Evidence of good judgment, creativity, inquisitiveness, and perseverance in past work or educational experience.
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment.
