Responsibilities
• Be part of a highly functional Web Operations team responsible for managing a world-class web infrastructure platform supporting all of AARP's public facing web properties.
• Lead security within the Web Operations team, as well as perform DevOps automation, systems administration and other web operations functions as needed.
• Be responsible for hands on security engineering, and systems administration/web operations. Make decisions, lead projects, and drive the group forward on new technologies.
• Work closely with Information Technology (IT) Information Security and other teams as required ensuring and maintaining the highest security posture for AARP's web infrastructure.
• Manage all aspects of web infrastructure security technologies, processes, and ongoing departmental cyber security work.
• Build and maintain digital properties, including web infrastructure, security engineering, systems administration, web development, open-source technologies, and scalability.
• Implement and manage security infrastructure solutions/technologies, including network firewalls, web application firewalls (WAF), host intrusion detection systems (HIDS), and network intrusion detection systems (NIDS). Evaluate, test, and implement new security infrastructure solutions/technologies, including network firewalls, web application firewalls (WAF), host intrusion detection systems (HIDS), and network intrusion detection systems (NIDS).
• Implement and manage public cloud infrastructure (AWS) and cyber security. Configure, secure, administer, and maintain Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud resources.
• Use Ansible, Terraform and other tools to automate security across the infrastructure ecosystem. Work with DevOps methodologies best practices and build & maintain infrastructure automation using Terraform, Jenkins and Ansible.
• Manage all aspects of payment card industry (PCI) compliance as it relates to the web infrastructure.
• Operate a Tanzu Cloud Foundry platform.
• Develop, document, and evangelize infrastructure security best practices and guidelines. Provide guidance on day-to-day security practices of web operations team members.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or the foreign equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science or related field, and 24 months of experience in the job offered or related role.
