Adventist Healthcare seeks to hire an experienced Public Relations/Marketing Manager who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Public Relations/Marketing Manager you will:

• Provide day-to-day hands-on communication and marketing support for hospitals and other Adventist HealthCare entities as needed.
• Manage day-to-day internal communications for hospital including (but not limited to) drafting of internal memos, letters and other communications for president and other executives; writing and story development for Prism and MediScene; drafting of physician e-news and other physician communications.
• Support media relations activities for hospital including coordination with reporters, photographers and other media representatives; writing news releases; preparing spokespersons for interviews; assisting in crisis communications.
• Support marketing activities for hospital including outreach to community, coordination of community events (with Coordinator) and drafting materials for • Web site and community publications.
• Photograph hospital-wide employee events for internal publications (Prism and MediScene).
• Help manage activities of Coordinator related to specific entity.
• Assist with strategy development and story content for newsletters.
• Draft articles for internal and external publications.

Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related filed required
• Minimum of three years' experience in public relations, marketing, communications or journalism.
• Ability to handle multiple projects at once
• Proficient in general computer software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
• Experience writing and editing newsletters/magazines.
• Understanding of the news process
• Understanding of social media
• Strong writer

Work Schedule:

Monday -Friday, Weekend /On-Call as needed.
