Adventist HealthCare is hiring an experienced Social Worker MSW, in our Southern Maryland Territory, Rockville Territory, and Silver Spring Territory.
We're seeking an experienced Social Worker MSW, who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.
As a Social Worker you will:
• Provide services to clients in accordance with a plan of care.
• Assist the physician and other team members in the development of the plan
of care, prepares clinical and progress notes, works with families, uses
appropriate community resources participate in discharge planning and in-
service programs.
• Acts as a consultant to other agency personnel including both the clinical and
financial departments.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines to provide a team approach to patient
care
• Provides appropriate patient interventions leading to the resolution of patient
problem
• Meets productivity standards set by the agency
• Meets expectations of patients and family members by providing
comprehensive care
• Use multicultural interventions to serve a diverse population
Qualified candidates will possess:
• Maryland Licensure as a Certified Social Worker (LCSW)
• Master's Degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education
• Valid American Heart Association CPR Certification
• Valid Driver's License with agency insurance requirements
• The ability to navigate an Electronic Medical Record system
• One-year experience as a Social Worker in a facility or home care environment
