Adventist HealthCare is hiring a Fart-time Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) in Rockville, Maryland. We're offering sign-on bonuses up to 5,000.
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Nurse for our Wound Care Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will:
• Report directly to Clinical Program Director
• Perform administrative duties (25-30%) as well as clinical duties (75-70%) which is fluid depending nurse-patient ratio-need.
• Execute the delivery of safe and effective patient-centered care.
• Oversee the Wound Care Center's Clinical Nurse(s) and provide patient care, handle intake and discharge processes.
• Perform the initial nursing assessment, communicate findings with the assigned physician, assess the wound stage and measurements, formulate goals and care plans and document, accordingly, evaluate the patient status in regard to desired outcomes, and identify patient care situations that require intervention
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, provide education to the patient or caregiver, and serve as a patient advocate in the delivery and coordination of the patient care
• Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBO) related duties as assigned, upon completion of the Healogics hyperbaric training
• Collaborate as needed with other healthcare providers, Wound Care Center Providers, the Program Director and the Medical Director regarding clinic and patient needs
• Function as a Documentation Assistant (scribe) in accordance with Healogics and Hospital policy
Qualification includes:
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Valid Maryland RN license required
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• One year of supervisory/management experience preferred
• Two years of current Wound Care Register Nurse experience or related acute care experience preferred
• Wound and Ostomy certification preferred
Work Schedule:
Monday- Friday 40 hrs/week; No Holidays/Weekends
