Provide guidance, support, and supervision to a team of CRMs. Manage and develop CRMs to ensure high quality work performance and professional growth. The Lead CRM will also manage one or more research projects.

Primary Purpose
Provide guidance, support, and supervision to a team of CRMs. Manage and develop CRMs to ensure high quality work performance and professional growth. The Lead CRM will also manage one or more research projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the development of CRMs by providing direction, support, and mentorship to support positive engagement by team members
- Line manage and ensure collaboration within the CRM team and the clinical operations department
- Communicate the clinical operations team goals to help employees create individual goals and manage expectations for performance
- Identify solutions for issues and problems encountered within the CRM team
- Provide input into employee salaries, bonuses, and nominations for promotions
- Serve primary point of contact for CRMs and escalate internal and client issues as needed to the Manager of Clinical Operations
- Maintain appropriate staff levels including recruitment and selection of CRMs in collaboration with the ERC
- Provide CRM staffing input to Manager of Clinical Operations for resourcing projects
- Represent the CRM team in internal and external meetings
- Participate in Clinical Operations strategy meetings as needed
- Assist with the creation of budgets, statements of work and proposals as needed
- Work cross-functionally to ensure timelines and goals are met
- Lead and/or participant in department initiatives
- Perform the duties of a CRM for research studies as needed per the CRM job description
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in science or related field and a minimum of four years' experience working in the clinical trials field is required
- Minimum of two years' experience working in Project Management is required
- Knowledge of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations/ICH guidelines is required
- Experience supervising or managing professional staff is preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, mentoring and leadership skills
- Ability to set expectations and monitor performance
- Strong technological skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Suite, storage applications, and online audio and video conferencing systems
- Excellent organizational and priority management skills with ability to work with established timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work remotely, flexibly, and independently while meeting project deadlines
