A$ A' "A' ?Location: Cabin John, MDSalary: $175,000.00 USD Annually - $190,000.00 USD AnnuallyDescription: The Judge Group is currently seeking a Director of Finance for one of our biggest clients in Maryland!Shift: Monday- Friday Remote - candidate needs to reside on the East Coast with preference to DC, MD, or VA areas as they will be required to come on-site for an occasional meeting.Our client is seeking a Director of Finance who is responsible for the functional areas of grants reporting and compliance, preparation of indirect costs proposals, revenue billing and collection,A' property management, financial policies and procedures, and investments.A' This position will be in support of our Global Infectious Diseases Portfolio, Department of Finance.A' Responsibilities:Plans, directs, and reviews the activities of personnel responsible for grants reporting, indirect cost rates, property management, billings and revenue collections, financial policies andA' procedures and investments.A' Responsible for provision of timely, accurate and reliable financial information to internal Budget Managers; enables leadership and managers to make sound business decisions and fulfill reporting obligationsA' Provides transparent and compliant reporting to Program funders.Ensures that monies due are properly billed, collected, and deposited to the correct accounts in a timely manner.Manages and directly supervises the day to day efforts of the Program Finance team.A' Mentors staff through 1:1 meetings, coaching sessions, and professional development plans.A' Builds powerful, productive relationships with a wide range of stakeholdersProvides cash management analysis and reports for use in improving the financial operating position.Monitors investments.Must Haves:Experience leading Budget development processA' Experience with International Finance reportingA' Experience leading process improvementA' Excellent presentation and communications skills to stakeholdersA' Expert with Excel skillsA' Financial modeling, analysis, and reportingA' Supervisory experienceA' Government contracting experienceA' Ability to handle Complex programsQualifications in addition to must haves above:Master's Degree (MBA) required;A' CPA may be substituted for MBA.More than 15 years experience required.Knowledge of federally funded (specifically DoD) awards, is required.Extensive knowledge of modern financial management practices.Excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate policies, regulations and technical analysis in a professional manner to all levels of staff.If you or someone you know is interested, please forward most up-to-date resume to me at bsharma01@.
