Great company to work with and exciting opportunity to grow both technical and leadership skills.Job Details:Title: Quality Assurance AnalystAddress: Nottingham, Maryland - 21236 (Work From Office)Job Type: Full Time Permanent RoleDepartment: IT - Enterprise ApplicationsJob PurposeProvide support for the Business Analytics & Reporting team by applying the principles and practices of software quality assurance throughout the software development life cycle. This process includes, but is not limited to: analysing and validating business requirements for completeness and accuracy, documenting business requirements and testing strategies, executing defined strategies, testing for data quality, testing user interface functionality, validating adherence to software or report requirement specifications and providing customer support.Responsibilities and Duties Construct SQL queries to support validation of defined testing strategies. Test for data integrity and user interface functionality. Coordinates and performs required unit, system, and performance testing. Works with other team members on User Acceptance testing and issue resolution. Create, Build and run automated test, resression test that suites and interpret the results. Construct Functional Requirement Specifications, Release Notes and How-To Guides for software and report releases. Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.Education and Qualifications 4 year degree in Information Systems, MIS, BIS, or related field of study or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 5 years of Quality Assurance experience involving business reporting and web applications. Experience with performing Functional testing, Smoke testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, Positive and Negative testing, System testing and End to End testing of Web Based Applications. Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and BDD framework to perform automation testing. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and Rest Assured to develop manual and automated end to end test suites for APIs.
