On our QA team, you'll be at the forefront of keeping our software sailing ahead smoothly.About this role:The Software Quality Engineer will be part of a scrum team that is responsible for writing and executing test cases working with Ready API Pro/Soap UI, SQL Query, TFS, and more.A' The Software Quality Engineer should have an interest in the success of the business (working with requirements and stories) and communicating feedback and test results.The Software Quality EngineerA' executes Information Services (IS) Quality Assurance (QA) processes with moderate guidance.A' He/She identifies problems, generates alternatives, and recommends solutions within defined processes. This position documents the progress of assigned tasks to ensure objectives are met. He/She collaborates effectively with QA team members, application developers, software vendors, consultants, user communities, and test environment technical support staff in the execution of testing procedures. This position supports testing efforts of small to medium complexity.TheA' Software Quality EngineerA' is knowledgeable of the key processes and technology within the business functions he/she supports.Minimum Qualifications:Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS), Ready API Pro/Soap UI, SQL Query, Scrum and Microsoft OfficeExperience testing APIsFamiliarity with ScriptingFamiliarity with testing front end web applicationFamiliarity with manual and automated testing concepts and Soap UIA' Familiarity working with Windows OS (Server and Workstation)Quality Assurance certification is a plusTechnical Knowledge of Hardware and SoftwareExcellent written and communication skillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalentThis position offers an exceptional opportunity to work for a Fortune 50 industry leader.
