A$ A' "A' ?CFS has partnered with a successful multi-specialty medical group in Baltimore County to identify a VP of Finance to join their team!ABOUT THE POSITION & COMPANY:Location - Baltimore CountyOffice Situation - Mostly in-office with hybrid abilities as neededComp: 115-130K + BonusReports to: CEOFounded over 50 years ago - still a growing practice!Benefits: PTO, 401K + match, medical/dental/visionWork-life balanceAutonomy to make this role your own!SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the CEO, the Vice President of Finance will have the responsibility of all aspects of the Accounting & Finance division. The VP will review and analyze all financial activities of the Practice on a monthly and quarterly basis, drive the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes, and develop staff directives that prioritize increases in revenue and promote fiscal responsibility. The VP will participate with the CEO in planning related to maximizing the Organization's profits and strategies towards the Organization's growth and future. The role includes reporting monthly on productivity outliers and individually meeting with specific providers to review PnLs and discuss formal action plans towards success for the individual provider as well as the department as a whole. The VP will have oversight of both the RCM and Population Health Operations. They will manage the accounting and finance staff, identify potential staffing and/or resource needs, assess departmental functionality and determine training and development needs. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as Financial Advisor to the CEO for management and strategic planning purposes Oversees all aspects of the accounting and finance operations including receivables, expenses, and reporting for tax preparation Provides management and further development of the Corporate investment plans Provides oversight of budget process Provides projections for expansions, reductions, or transitions within the Organization Presides over monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and provides analyses regarding trending Presents monthly reporting to CEO and Board in an actual, prior year, and to budget format Acts to mitigate financial risks for the Organization Identifies and models additional growth and revenue streams Initiates audit protocols to measure effectiveness and efficiencies of current financial protocols Ensures that Organization is compliant with Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations Has reporting authority over the RCM department to verify that revenue collection meets projections and payor contractual obligations Maintains oversight of Population Health to validate results and financial impact to the Organization Efficiently uses accounting and Practice Management systems Works cross functionally with Operations and Marketing to develop, execute, and track strategic initiatives Performs other duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases and spreadsheets, programs, and ability to work within standard accounting systemsStrong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to think criticallyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProactive and independent with the ability to take initiative Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to lead a Team and generate Financial KPI's for the Corporation Ability to communicate expectations and results effectively to all levels of staff and providersEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. Masters Degree Preferred Ten plus years of managerial experienceCertifications such as CPA, CFA, and CMA are preferred#CFSMAR2023CB2
