Structural and Graphic Designer

A$ A' "A' ? A highly recognized party supply company is seeking an energetic and talented concept designer who can create corrugated POP displays and promotional pieces for world-recognized brands. You will develop conceptual, structural, and graphic solutions specific to the display and retail markets. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to drive projects to completion.We are an idea and concepts-driven company motivated by ingenuity and creativity. The existing department is composed of an experienced team with a history of creating, developing, and crafting engaging experiences. We have national and international customers in the realm of entertainment, food and beverage, and special celebrations. The projects often blur the lines between art, brand, space, technology, and entertainment. RESPONSIBILITIES:This role focuses on delivering high concept point of purchase designs and collaborating with the team to implement the design through digital printing and die cutting. The project work is a blend of strategy, spatial and digital design, and artistic imagination to create a holistic brand experience for our clients. Primary responsibilities include: - Develop digital dielines that will be used to produce custom displays on various materials - Prepare designs for digital printing and die cutting - Collaborating with clients and creative team to design spatial concepts from start to finish - Create 3D models from 2D design - Integrating messaging, color, imagery, type and composition into 3D displays REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Relevant Bachelor's degree in Product, Structural Design, or Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience - ArtiosCAD or other structural design software experience - A portfolio that exhibits structural design maturity - 3D package design a plusREQUIRED SKILLS: - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - Demonstrated understanding of POP, PDQ, and 3-D Structural Design - Good verbal and written communication skills - Detail oriented and ability to focus under deadlines - Able to adapt to changing project criteria and handle multiple prioritiesPREFERRED SKILLS - Graphic design experience - Experience with offset and digital printing - Experience with Prepress requirements - Die fabricationBENEFITS:Dental, Vision, and Paid Medical; Flexible PTO Policy; Immediate Paid Holidays; 401 (k) with Employer Match
