Student Records Coordinator - Graduate ProgramsThe George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School's Records Office seeks a detailed oriented, motivated, energetic person to work with graduate program students and alumni (JM/LLM), faculty, and staff for matriculation, scheduling, registration, graduation, and Records Office needs of graduate students. A relatively young law school, Scalia Law offers students an opportunity to pursue a JD, JM, or an LLM.About the Department:The Student Records Office at the George Mason University, Antonin Scalia Law School is located on the campus in Arlington, Virginia. It solely serves the law school community providing direct support to students, faculty, staff and alumni with regard to academic matters, from course registration through graduation. It is responsible for the maintenance and processing of student records in compliance with all applicable privacy policies and regulations.Responsibilities:Create and set-up courses, schedules, and registration materials for graduate programs (non-JD) in each semester or term;Register students for the graduate (non-JD) programs as directed and process student registration items/changes throughout the academic year in Banner;Track student progress towards degree completion and compliance with academic performance regulations;Perform manual degree audits, verify degree completion, and post degrees in consultation with the Assoc. Registrar. Provide degree progress reports to graduate advising team and support academic counseling efforts of graduate advising team;Assist with online exam set-up/proctoring and process exam results for graduate program students. Implement testing accommodations for graduate students granted disability/ESL accommodations;Prepare transcripts, verification requests, good standing and enrollment letters;Process requests for bar exam documentation, track bar passage rates, and record updates and corrections for the graduate program students records. Other related tasks as assigned;Run reports on graduate programs and students from Banner to support online partners, graduate services team, and other departments in the law school; andOther duties as assigned which help the department achieve its objectives and goals and/or support the mission of the Law School.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;Customer service experience and demonstrated ability to process large volumes of work, while maintaining a high level of accuracy;Knowledge of and experience using Banner and Excel;Demonstrated skill working with computers and databases; andAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and demands from different consistencies.Preferred Qualifications:Knowledge of and experience using ExamSoft, CourseLeaf Scheduling systems, and MicroStrategies.
